How does Derma Roller work?
The Derma Roller is gently rolled across your skin, it makes pin point punctures into the dermis. Your body perceives this as damage, which triggers the release of growth factors that, in turn, stimulate the production of elastin and collagen. The concept of skin needling is based on the skins natural ability to repair itself.
You are eligible to have Derma Rolling if the following applies to you
- Sun damage
- Acne/ acne scars / scars
- Fine lines / Wrinkles
- Crows feet
- Stretch marks
- Rosacea
- Dry skin
- Open pores/enlarged pores
You are NOT eligible for Derma Rolling if the following applies
- You suffer with active acne
- Raised moles or warts
- Active bacterial, viral or fungal infections
- Facial surgery in the last 6 months
- Eczema and psoriasis
- Diabetes
- Blood thinning medication
